Hi, Lexie~
I'm Kimberly Truong, a social media strategist and creative producer based in Los Angeles.
First things first, just a fine assortment of the best restaurants in the greater Los Angeles area (in no particular order): Cacao Mexicatessen, Lou the French on the Block, Macherroni Republic, Tarme, and Bud Namu. Some of these are better for your own experience than events but had to put these out there just in case.
Someone I hold in high regard once described my work as ✨B2C vibes for B2B brands✨ and I've been humble-bragging about it ever since.
I've spent 15 years helping tech companies build social presences and communities that actually feel human. I've created influencer programs, employee advocacy campaigns, and niche content strategies for brands like Atlassian, Postman, Regus, and Uber for Business.
I've grown communities from zero to nearly half a million followers through purely organic tactics. I built an incredibly effective executive and employee advocacy program from the ground up with zero budget.
Building niche communities is genuinely my favorite thing. At Sophos, I identified that the entire cybersecurity analyst world lived on Twitter and wasn't being talked to. I translated dense technical research into social-first content those communities actually wanted to share — and turned a skeptical, hard-to-impress audience into genuine advocates. During my time I grew our community from zero to nearly half a million followers.
I most recently wrote and produced a fiction audio series that was featured by Apple Podcasts and iHeart and ranked in the top 3 on Apple Podcasts' charts for Fiction and Drama. I mention it because building that audience from scratch is the same muscle as influencer community work: find the right people, make them feel something, and give them a reason to keep showing up.
I'd genuinely love to be part of what you're building at Anthropic.
